Thread Lifts Get Thumbs Down

"Thread lifts" involve placing barbed threads under the skin and then tightening them to pull up drooping facial tissues.

Researchers recently concluded that threads deliver poor results because they fail to deliver long lasting results, involve unacceptable risk and do nothing to address loss of volume which is the main problem associated with aging.

Update on Permanent Fillers

A new survey completed by the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (BAAPS) suggests that permanent cosmetic fillers are associated with more complications than other types of cosmetic injections.
